Accessibility on the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre

The exhibition grounds are barrier-free; all halls and entrances are accessible at ground level.

• Shuttle service: During our events and trade fairs, a barrier-free shuttle bus is available between Karlsruhe main station and Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre.
• Parking spaces: The first rows on car park P1 directly in front of the main entrance are reserved for people with disabilities.
• Wheelchairs: Free service for your visit to the trade fair: On the day of the trade fair, please contact your local DRK colleagues at 0721-3720 5230. A wheelchair will then be brought to you for the duration of your visit to the trade fair. Please choose the main entrance of the fair for this purpose.
• WCs and changing rooms: WCs for disabled persons and changing rooms for adults are available.

W-LAN on the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre

W-LAN is available on the entire exhibition grounds; a separate W-LAN-enabled terminal device with a web browser function is required.

• To use it, you need a W-LAN-enabled terminal with the worldwide W-LAN standard IEEE 802.11n/ac.
• The maximal speed is 8 Mbit/s per end device. However, the speed may be slower depending on the hall load.
• Reception throughout the premises may not be guaranteed when there area large number of users.
• Each user and/or terminal can go online with a mobile terminal for a maximum of 4 hours free of charge. In addition, the user can purchase an additional three hours of W-LAN for five euros. Vouchers are available at the Business Centre in the Events Hall or online on the portal page.
• Payment can only be made in cash on site or by credit card online.

Premium Wi-Fi: If you require a higher bandwidth, we recommend that you order our Premium Wi-Fi without bandwidth restriction for a fee online or at the Business Centre West Entrance.

Parking at Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre

A total of 7,000 parking spaces are available at four parking areas on the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre. Parking fees vary depending on the event.

The convention centre has an underground car park beneath Festplatz with 1,000 parking spaces.

Cloakroom and lockers

On the exhibition grounds there is a charge of 2 euros for the use of the cloakroom service for items of clothing and 3 euros for items of luggage. Lockers are available in the basement using a 1 Euro deposit coin.

Digital lockers can be found in the entrance area (main entrance) on the left-hand side.

12 of 24 LiveLockers are equipped with the possibility to charge batteries of mobile devices. After opening the LiveLocker, you will find

• a 220V/16A socket to connect your own power supply units, e.g. for charging laptops or bicycle batteries, and,
• a USB type A and a USB type C socket with a combined output of 18W.

You can reserve these in advance for your stay at live-locker.com .

There is a charge of 5 euros per day for their use.

Cloakrooms are available at all four event venues in the Convention Centre.

The large information pillar offers visitors a diverse selection of flyers and brochures on the various offers available from Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre and Tourism Information Karlsruhe. Here you will find tips and suggestions for your visit to Karlsruhe and the surrounding area.

EC ATM on the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre

Visitors to Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre can use the EC ATM machine in the entrance area of the Events Hall.

Customers of Volksbank and customers of Sparkasse Stadt Karlsruhe-Ettlingen can withdraw cash from this machine free of charge.

Bicycles services at Messe Karlsruhe

We have more than 300 bicycle parking spaces at the Messe location on both sides of the main entrance, as well as additional parking spaces at the East Entrance.

With our bicycle breakdown service, we offer you a basic set of tools and aids for quickly solving a breakdown. Be it a punctured tyre, a defective inner tube, a jammed brake or simply too little air: help can be called up and equipment borrowed via the service hotline 0721 3720-5222.

Charging station for electric cars

Visitors to Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre can use the charging stations for electric vehicles in car park P1, one charge costs 6 euros. A type 2 plug is required. Please note: Vehicular entrance to P1 is subject to a fee. Reservations are not possible.

At the convention center there are three charging stations in the underground car park, parking deck C. Please note: Vehicular entrance to the underground car park is subject to a fee.

Dogs on the trade fair campus

Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre does not permit any animals on its campus. Exceptions are guide dogs for people with disabilities, guide dogs and service dogs with the corresponding certificates, and our TIERisch gut fair, to which visitors are welcome to bring their dogs.
