Karlsruhe is centrally located on several traffic routes and can easily be reached by plane, train or car.
On site, you can travel by tram, bus and S-Bahn(suburban railway)in a very well developed regional public transport network.
Coming from the A5/A8 motorway, please take exit no. 48 “Karlsruhe-Süd”. Coming from the A65 or B10 motorway, please take exit no. 8 and follow the signs to “Messe”.
On the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre, you will find a total of 7,000 car parking spaces in three car parks, as well as a VIP/press car park. Parking spaces for people with disabilities are available in the first rows of car park P1. You will also find e-charging station parking spaces at the entrance to the administration on car park P1.
From the main train station, take Line 3 (toward Heide) or Line 4 (toward Waldstadt) to the Europaplatz stop and change there to Line S2 toward Rheinstetten (alight at the Messe/Leichtsandstraße stop). From the city centre, take Line S2 toward Rheinstetten and alight at the Messe/Leichtsandstraße stop. For events and on trade fair days, tickets for “Tarifwabe 100” are valid as far as the Messe/Leichtsandstraße stop. Further information on departure times and prices can be obtained from Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund (KVV).
For large events and trade fairs, we offer a free shuttle service between the main railway station and the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre. Further information on departure times can be found directly on the website of the specific event.
The Convention Centre is located in the city centre. Karlsruhe is an environmental zone; the green sticker is mandatory.
Coming from the A5/A8 motorway, please take exit 45 “Karlsruhe-Mitte” toward Karlsruhe. Exit the B10 in the direction of “Stadtmitte/Zentrum”. Coming from the A65 or B10 motorway, please take exit no. 2 in the direction of “Kongresszentrum” and follow the signs marked “Kongresszentrum”.
The “Am Festplatz” public underground car park with 1,000 parking spaces belongs to the Convention Centre. This multi-storey car park has three e-charging station parking spaces marked in green on parking level C. The car park has parking space for 1,000 cars. Here you can charge your electric vehicle (with type 2 plug) free of charge. You will find further parking facilities at the main railway station or in the surrounding multi-storey car parks in the city centre.
From the main railway station, take bus 10 (toward Marktplatz) and alight at the Kongresszentrum stop. Further information on departure times and prices can be obtained from Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund (KVV).
